Last week I just measured my Lavida's trunk with a tape measure. The depth is about 110cm, minimum width 102cm, and maximum loading height 56cm. During our last family trip, we packed two 28-inch suitcases, two backpacks and a folded stroller, with some room to spare when closing the lid. This space is quite competitive among cars in the same class, though installing a cargo cover may reduce the height by about 5cm. For regular grocery runs, I can casually throw in seven or eight large bags sideways without worrying about capacity. When loading bulky items, I recommend removing the rear parcel shelf to gain an extra 10cm of height.

As a veteran driver who has owned a Lavida for three years, what I'm most satisfied with is the trunk's practicality. The official 510-liter capacity is no exaggeration - I've routinely loaded 20 cases of mineral water plus a folding cart for stock. A friend who bought a Japanese competitor later tried fitting two oversized golf bags in my trunk and immediately regretted his choice. Do note the rear wheel arches eat into some space though - the widest point is 140cm but narrows to 100cm in the middle. The tailgate opening is sufficiently large (I've loaded a compact fridge when moving house). While trunk dimensions are available online, real-world usage proves more flexible than specs suggest.

Under what circumstances will a car starter fail?

Car starter damage can be caused by factors such as usage time, improper operation, and traffic accidents. Below is relevant information about car starters: Introduction: It converts the electrical energy from the battery into mechanical energy, driving the engine flywheel to rotate and enabling the engine to start. Before the engine can operate under its own power, it must be rotated by an external force. The process of transitioning from a stationary state to self-sustained operation with the help of external force is called engine starting. Working principle: It is an energy conversion process based on Ampere's law, where a current-carrying conductor experiences force in a magnetic field. The motor includes essential components such as the armature, commutator, magnetic poles, brushes, bearings, and housing.

Does a Dash Cam Need to Be Charged?

A dash cam does not need to be charged. Here are some precautions for using a dash cam: Check if it is turned on: Dash cams usually have a startup prompt sound. Pay attention to whether the dash cam turns on synchronously every time you start the car. While driving safely, regularly check if the dash cam is recording properly. Formatting time: Develop the habit of formatting the dash cam's memory card once a month to prevent the storage card from being filled with automatically locked videos, which could leave no space for new recordings. Check connection status: If the dash cam you are using does not have a screen and requires an app to view videos, remember to check if the app is functioning properly and if the connection to your phone is smooth.

Is it illegal for sports cars to make loud noises on the street?

If the sports car is stock, making loud noises on the street will not be stopped by traffic police. However, if it has been illegally modified, then it is illegal and will be stopped by traffic police. Below are some precautions regarding vehicle operation: Pre-departure inspection: Before setting off each day, conduct a comprehensive check of the vehicle, including checking for oil or water leaks, measuring tire pressure to ensure it is appropriate, inspecting the engine oil condition to see if the color is normal and the oil level is correct. Safe driving: Use seat belts correctly. In the event of a severe collision, seat belts provide protection no less effective than airbags. Avoid fatigued driving; take a break every 2 hours. Obey traffic rules: Especially on highways, do not speed. Speeding not only risks penalties from traffic police but, more importantly, is unsafe.
