Tank 500 is positioned as a mid-to-large luxury off-road SUV and is one of the largest members in the Great Wall family. The Tank 500 is available in three versions: Business Edition, Sport Edition, and Custom Edition, with both 5-seat and 7-seat options. It offers two interior and exterior styles—sporty and luxurious—and is equipped with a 3.0T V6 + 9AT powertrain. The dimensions of the Sport Edition Tank 500 are 5070mm in length, 1934mm in width, and 1905mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. The side profile of the vehicle is neat, dignified, and robust, featuring privacy glass and 18-inch multi-spoke wheels. The Tank 500 also offers five exterior color options: Kunlun Gold, Pamir Silver, Everest White, Ink Stone Black, and Red-Gold Two-Tone, as well as four interior color schemes: Dual Brown, Blue-Beige, Black Three, and Black-Brown. The Luxury Edition Tank 500 features a two-tone body and a multi-slat nine-horizontal-bar grille design. Due to the absence of an external spare tire, its length is slightly reduced while other dimensions remain unchanged, measuring 4878mm, 1934mm, and 1905mm. For the interior, both versions adopt a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen layout. Additionally, the Sport Edition and Luxury Edition have distinctly different color schemes—the former in beige and dark blue, and the latter in black and dark brown. In terms of powertrain, to match its flagship SUV positioning, the Tank 500 adopts a relatively rare 3.0T V6 + 9AT powertrain with a 48V mild hybrid system, delivering a maximum power of 260kW at 6000rpm and a peak torque of 500 N·m between 1500-4500rpm. The engine's thermal efficiency is 38.5%. For off-road performance, the new vehicle features a third-generation intelligent four-wheel-drive system with mechanical locking capability, enabling real-time torque distribution between the front and rear axles (0~100:100~0) in milliseconds based on road conditions. It allows seamless switching between AWD, 4Hlock, and 2H modes at speeds below 80km/h.
