The new Santana features a MacPherson strut independent front suspension, which has a simple structure and offers good reliability and durability, while hardly occupying any space in the engine compartment. The rear suspension is a compound torsion beam non-independent suspension, which is compact in size, helping to reduce the overall manufacturing cost of the vehicle and expand the rear passenger space as well as the trunk space. The new Santana measures 4475 mm in length, 1706 mm in width, and 1469 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2603 mm. It is equipped with EA211 series engines, available in 1.4L and 1.6L displacements. The 1.4L engine delivers a maximum power output of 66 kW, while the 1.6L engine produces a maximum power of 81 kW, both utilizing a lighter all-aluminum structure.
