What is the sequence for tightening cylinder head bolts?

Cylinder head bolt tightening mainly involves the following steps: 1. Secure the engine on a rotating stand; if unavailable, place it on a workbench. 2. Remove the valve cover, being careful not to damage the gasket. 3. Take off the oil deflector cover on the cylinder head, then remove the camshaft bearing caps in the sequence of both sides first, then the middle, and finally both sides again. 4. Loosen the cylinder head bolts in a diagonal pattern (loosen first, then remove), starting with both sides before moving to the middle, until all bolts are removed. 5. Tap the joint between the cylinder head and block with a soft hammer to loosen it, then lift off the cylinder head. The cylinder head bolts are divided into upper and lower points, typically totaling 10 bolts. When removing the cylinder head, loosen bolts diagonally from the outside. When only two bolts remain, loosen them last, gradually loosening in stages. When installing the cylinder head, apply a layer of sealant. Begin by slightly tightening the two inner bolts first, then proceed diagonally in sequence. Similarly, tighten in stages as during removal, and finally use a torque wrench to tighten fully.
