The scope of Lynk & Co's lifetime warranty includes the engine, transmission, chassis, integrated control unit, etc. Some wear-and-tear parts are not covered by the lifetime warranty, such as tires, bulbs, batteries, wiper blades, spark plugs, and the four major filters. The warranty period for these wear-and-tear parts will be specified in the warranty manual or the three-guarantee certificate. Conditions for the invalidation of Lynk & Co's lifetime warranty: To enjoy the lifetime warranty, the owner must be the first owner, meaning the vehicle cannot be transferred to another person. When selling the car as a used vehicle, the lifetime warranty becomes invalid, and the buyer cannot enjoy this right. If the vehicle is scrapped, catches fire, or is forcibly scrapped according to national policies, the lifetime warranty becomes invalid. The vehicle cannot be used for non-household purposes such as official business, operation, or competition; otherwise, the lifetime warranty becomes invalid. If the vehicle is involved in a major accident or incident, such as fire, flooding, or a major traffic accident causing significant damage to the main body, the lifetime warranty becomes invalid. If maintenance and repairs are not performed according to Lynk & Co's standards, or if non-original Lynk & Co parts or parts not of equivalent quality to Lynk & Co's original parts are used, the lifetime warranty becomes invalid.

After purchasing the Lynk & Co 05, I carefully studied its lifetime warranty policy. It mainly covers core components such as the engine, transmission, and drivetrain—these major parts are eligible for free repairs or replacements for life. However, it requires scheduled maintenance at authorized service centers and prohibits unauthorized modifications. If you drive frequently, remember to get it inspected every 5,000 kilometers or every six months. Wear-and-tear parts like tires, brake pads, batteries, and bulbs aren’t covered since they degrade easily and must be replaced at the owner’s expense. As an owner, this gives me peace of mind—if something goes wrong, I won’t face huge bills. But sticking to the rules is crucial; otherwise, the warranty may be voided. So, I always remind friends to keep up with maintenance records.

From a technical perspective, the Lynk & Co 05's lifetime warranty primarily safeguards core mechanical components like the engine, transmission, and rear axle to prevent major failures. However, wear-and-tear parts such as suspension springs or cooling system components may be excluded due to natural aging over time. Maintenance is crucial—regular servicing must be performed at authorized 4S shops with proper documentation retained. Failure to adhere to scheduled maintenance will void the warranty. This mechanism is ingeniously designed to encourage standardized vehicle usage among owners, reducing long-term expenses while extending the vehicle's lifespan. I believe this policy is particularly beginner-friendly, effectively mitigating risks of unexpected costs.
