What is the reset method for Volvo's power tailgate?

In the Volvo cabin, press the trunk door opening button or use the button on the key to open the power tailgate of the Volvo vehicle. After the trunk is opened, manually push the power tailgate to the desired height and hold it in that position. Press and hold the switch button on the tailgate for approximately 4-5 seconds. The vehicle's computer will automatically store the height position information at this time. Once the storage is complete, there is usually a confirmation sound. Close the power tailgate and open it again to check if it rises to the previously recorded height position.
I previously encountered a sticky issue with my Volvo's electric tailgate, and fellow car owners suggested resetting the system to fix it. The method was quite simple: first, fully close the tailgate, locate the tailgate button inside the car, press and hold it for about 10-15 seconds, then release the button when you hear a beep or see a light flash—this completes the reset. Afterward, test whether the tailgate responds normally to opening and closing.
