If the water temperature at the radiator filler port is low and there is no water flow or the flow is slow at the upper radiator inlet pipe, it indicates a thermostat malfunction. Methods for testing the thermostat: 1. Check the opening temperature of the thermostat valve: The thermostat is installed at the outlet of the engine water jacket. Remove the thermostat and immerse it in water, gradually heating the water to check the opening temperature of the main thermostat valve. If the opening temperature does not meet the requirements or the valve does not close tightly at room temperature, replace the thermostat. 2. Check the valve lift of the thermostat: When the water temperature is heated to 93 degrees, the valve lift should be greater than 8.5mm. If the valve lift does not meet the specified value, replace the thermostat.
