I've been making my own windshield washer fluid for many years and find it super convenient and cost-effective. The basic recipe is 4 liters of clean water, a cup of pure alcohol like isopropyl alcohol or cheap vodka will also work, and a small teaspoon of dish soap or dishwashing liquid. The alcohol is mainly for antifreeze in winter, and the amount can be reduced in summer. The dish soap helps to easily wash away dirt. I just find a large bottle, pour in the water first, then slowly add and mix the alcohol, and finally add the dish soap to avoid creating too much foam. Shake well before use and then pour it into the car. Be careful not to add too much detergent, otherwise it may foam up and obstruct visibility when sprayed, and avoid using strongly alkaline substances that could damage the car's paint. Before winter, I always make extra and store it in the garage to prevent freezing and cracking. Overall, it's very simple, and the materials can be easily found at home.

I personally prefer using eco-friendly windshield washer fluid because I'm concerned about the environmental pollution caused by chemicals in commercial products. My recipe consists of 4 liters of filtered water, half a cup of white vinegar to partially substitute alcohol's anti-corrosion effect, plus a small amount of mild liquid soap like eco-friendly soap for cleaning the glass. The white vinegar also helps remove grease stains. Although it's not as effective as alcohol in preventing freezing, with proper ratio control it can still work in slightly colder winter regions. When mixing, I recommend first stirring the water and vinegar thoroughly, then adding the soap drop by drop to avoid excessive foaming. The bottle can be recycled after use to reduce waste. I find that homemade solution not only protects nature but also saves money by avoiding pre-packaged commercial products in plastic. Each large batch lasts one to two months, saving time and providing peace of mind. Don't forget to test it on a small area of glass to check for streaks.

I found that making my own windshield washer fluid is a great way to save money. A bottle of commercial windshield washer fluid costs over ten yuan, but my homemade recipe only uses materials worth a few cents: 4 liters of tap water, a cup of inexpensive ethanol alcohol costing a few dimes, and a bit of dish soap for another few dimes. First, pour the water into a large container, then add the alcohol and mix well, and finally add a small spoonful of dish soap and stir slowly. Once done, pour it into an old spray bottle for reuse without waste. This way, I can easily save fifty to sixty yuan a year by making it myself in all seasons. The process isn’t complicated—just a few minutes in the kitchen, and you can adjust the thickness by adding more water. The key is not to cut corners by using dangerous substances like ammonia, which can damage the car’s window film. In short, it’s economical, practical, and flexible.

What are the activation conditions for Lexus automatic braking?

When the vehicle speed reaches 30km/h, the active braking system will automatically activate. The active braking system monitors traffic conditions through the optical radar system on the front windshield, especially the situation within 6 meters in front of the vehicle. When the vehicle ahead brakes, stops, or encounters other obstacles, the system will first automatically apply additional force to the braking system to help the driver shorten the braking distance before taking action. More relevant information is as follows: 1. Emergency braking state: Active braking works in emergency braking situations. Active braking is developed based on ABS, which is the Brake Assist System (BAS). It determines whether to enter an emergency braking state by monitoring the force and speed at which the driver presses the brake pedal. 2. BAS judgment: If BAS determines that it needs to enter an emergency braking state, the system will increase braking force to achieve the purpose of reducing braking distance. In other words, the automatic braking system in its initial stage requires the driver to detect an emergency and press the brake pedal to activate brake assist, otherwise it will not function.

What are the reasons for the unresponsive multifunction steering wheel buttons in the Lavida?

The reasons for the unresponsive multifunction steering wheel buttons in the Lavida are as follows: 1. Functional failure: Generally, the multifunction steering wheel of a vehicle includes functions such as multimedia volume adjustment, Bluetooth phone calls, and multimedia track navigation. Malfunctions or abnormalities in these functions can lead to unresponsive buttons. 2. Mechanical failure: Buttons are consumable components that wear out during use, leading to a shortened lifespan. It cannot be ruled out that functional failures and uncontrollable quality are caused by poor quality, unreasonable design, or immature manufacturing processes. 3. Circuit or connector failure: Buttons have corresponding matching circuits and connectors, plugs, etc., for electronic and electrical connections with the central control unit. Accelerated oxidation of connectors due to unsuitable usage environments, aging of wiring, oxidation of button contacts, short circuits in connectors, or virtual open circuits can all result in unresponsive buttons.
