Reasons why the automatic start-stop of the Mercedes-Benz A200L does not respond: Failure to meet safety conditions: The vehicle has not reached the ideal working state. Insufficient battery power or low voltage can cause the automatic start-stop to not work. This is because during engine shutdown, the engine cooling fan and in-car air conditioning require power to operate. Engine coolant temperature being too high or too low can also cause the automatic start-stop to not work. Failure to reach the set state: The vehicle has not reached the state set by the driver. When the in-car air conditioning is turned on in summer, if the engine is turned off, the air conditioning compressor will not work. Once the difference between the in-car temperature and the air conditioning set temperature is too large, the automatic start-stop system will restart the engine.
