What is the reason for Tianlong vehicle fault code 10?

Tianlong vehicle fault code 10 reasons: 1. Caused by battery corrosion or battery leakage. 2. Engine spark plug getting wet on rainy days. 3. Circuit fault: For Tianlong vehicles equipped with dci11 engine, there is a gray relay that supplies power to the vehicle control unit (VECU). The coil end connects to VECU pin 9. If there's internal VECU failure or circuit fault, the gray relay coil end cannot be grounded, causing the instrument panel to display fault code 9. The gray relay contact end connects to VECU pin 10. If the gray relay fails or this circuit has issues, it will cause the instrument panel to display fault code 10.
Last year when I was driving the Tianlong heavy-duty truck, I encountered a fault code 10. At first, I thought there was a major engine issue, which gave me quite a scare. Later, I took it to an auto repair shop where the mechanic used a diagnostic tool to read the code. He said it was either a faulty intake air temperature sensor or a loose connector, causing the data not to be transmitted to the computer. These types of sensors are located near the air filter, where dust tends to accumulate easily, and over time, they may fail or give false readings. In my case, it was just a loose connector causing the intermittent fault code 10 to pop up. It's important to regularly check the cleanliness of the sensor area and clean the dust periodically to avoid such issues. After the repair, I noticed the vehicle responded better, and the fuel consumption returned to normal. My advice is not to panic when encountering similar warnings—connect to a diagnostic computer promptly to verify the issue and avoid unnecessary repairs and expenses.
