What is the reason for the spray gun emitting air but no material?

The reason for the spray gun emitting air but no material is that the paint tube is blocked or the suction cup is clogged. Paint tube blockage: The spray gun should be kept perpendicular to the substrate surface, or as perpendicular as possible. If the spray gun is slightly tilted, it will inevitably cause the spray pattern to flow to one side, while the other side appears dry and lacking paint, which may result in streaky coatings. The solution is to clean the paint tube thoroughly. Check the air supply oil pump: See if the suction cup is clogged and needs cleaning; whether the oil pump is pumping normally. If there is a problem with the oil pump, abnormal suction can also cause the spray gun to not emit paint. Solution: Clean the oil pump and suction cup.
