Poor acceleration after cleaning the throttle body is caused by issues with the cleaning agent and ignition system failure. Problems with the cleaning agent: Excessive cleaning agent sprayed during the process can lead to an overly rich air-fuel mixture, resulting in incomplete combustion. This issue usually resolves itself after driving for a while (a short period). Using poor-quality cleaning agents or improper cleaning methods (sometimes cleaning the throttle body is accompanied by cleaning the intake tract, fuel system, catalytic converter, etc.) can easily cause abnormal engine damage or catalytic converter failure (clogging). Ignition system failure Check the ignition system (spark plugs). Sometimes when spark plugs are about to be replaced, improper cleaning/use of poor-quality cleaning agents (improper cleaning can easily cause engine detonation, damaging the ignition system and sometimes even mechanical engine components).
