I've been driving the WM EX5 for over a year now, mainly for daily urban commuting. The official claim for my EX5 400 version is a 400 km range, but in reality, it's around 380 km. On highways, the range drops to about 330 km due to higher wind resistance, so I have to plan charging stops in advance. Weather also has a big impact—in winter, with the heater on, the range reduces to 350 km, and in summer, using the AC still cuts about 50 km off the range. It's advisable to consider your daily commute distance before buying; for example, with my 50 km daily commute, I don't need to fully charge every week. Charging is quite convenient—fast charging takes about 30 minutes to reach 80%, while slow charging overnight does the trick. The battery health has been good over time, with no significant degradation.

Why does the car lose power when accelerating with the AC on?

The reasons for the car losing power when accelerating with the AC on are as follows: 1. Insufficient fuel supply: The relative increase in fuel vapor leads to a decrease in internal fuel pressure within the fuel system, and a clogged fuel filter can cause inadequate fuel supply. 2. Component blockage: If components such as the air filter or throttle valve become clogged or malfunction, resulting in insufficient air intake, it can also cause the car to accelerate weakly and slowly. 3. Exhaust system failure: Exhaust system failure mainly refers to poor exhaust flow, often caused by a broken catalytic converter. A clogged exhaust pipe can lead to a decrease in engine power.

What Causes a Car to Keep Running After Removing the Key?

This issue occurs due to a malfunction in the ignition startup module. Below is relevant information about automotive ignition systems: 1. Function: The ignition system's role is to connect or disconnect the primary circuit of the ignition system according to signals from the signal generator, thereby generating high-voltage ignition current in the secondary winding of the ignition coil. Modern automotive ignition systems feature various internal circuit designs, but their fundamental functions are largely similar, consisting of corresponding functional circuits. 2. Components: The ignition system primarily consists of the power source, ignition coil, distributor, ignition switch, spark plugs, additional resistors with their bypass devices, and high/low voltage wiring.

What does the P0204 fault code mean?

P0204 fault code indicates a cylinder 4 injector driver circuit malfunction - current too low or open circuit. Below are relevant details: 1. Injector function: The fuel injector atomizes fuel to meet combustion requirements. Its working principle: when the solenoid coil is energized, it generates magnetic force to lift the needle valve, opening the injection hole. Fuel sprays at high speed through the annular gap between the needle valve tip and injection hole, forming atomized spray. 2. Fault cause: The ECU controls fuel injection quantity by regulating injector opening duration (pulse width). This fault code appears when the ECU detects an error in the injector control circuit.

What to do if a piece of paint is scratched on the car door?

If a piece of paint is scratched on the car door and it's just a small area with the primer still intact, it's recommended not to repair it. If the primer is gone, it's advisable to get it repaired, otherwise, it may lead to rust on the door. Generally, minor scratches only affect the clear coat, which can be removed with simple polishing. Deeper scratches that reach the base coat require touch-up paint for removal. If the scratch damages the primer surfacer, it can cause rust on the car's steel body. The car's paint consists of four layers, from the inside out: the electrocoat primer, primer surfacer, base coat, and clear coat.

How to Fasten the Helmet Strap?

To fasten the helmet strap, simply buckle the clasps together. More knowledge about safety helmets is as follows: 1. Introduction: A safety helmet is protective equipment designed to prevent head injuries from impacts. It consists of a shell, liner, chin strap, and rear harness. 2. Principle: When a worker's head is impacted by a falling object, the helmet shell and liner instantly distribute the impact force over the entire surface of the skull. Then, the elastic deformation, plastic deformation, and permissible structural failure of the helmet's buffer components absorb most of the impact force, reducing the final impact force acting on the head to below 4900N, thereby protecting the worker's head. The material of the helmet shell plays a crucial role in the overall impact resistance of the safety helmet.

What problems are likely to occur after a car wades through water?

After wading through water, cars are prone to the following problems: 1. Chassis rust: When a vehicle wades through water, dirt and debris can adhere to gaps in the chassis and other areas. Over time, this can lead to chassis rust and even component failure. 2. Headlight water accumulation: In older vehicles, the headlight covers may not be tightly sealed, allowing water to easily enter the headlights during wading. This can create condensation on the inner surface of the headlight covers, affecting light transmission. 3. Engine compartment wiring harness damage: The engine compartment contains numerous wiring harnesses and circuits. After driving through water, the connectors of these wiring harnesses may become wet, leading to short circuits and potential damage to the ECU.
