The range of the Emgrand PHEV is approximately 50 kilometers. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) differ from conventional hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in that PHEVs have larger batteries, which can be charged using an external power source. PHEVs are also classified as new energy vehicles and are eligible for green new energy license plates. The Emgrand PHEV is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, delivering a maximum power of 76 kW and a maximum torque of 140 Nm. The engine reaches its maximum power at 6,000 rpm and its maximum torque at 4,400 rpm. It features VVT technology and utilizes an aluminum alloy cylinder head and block.

I've been driving the Emgrand PHEV for several months now. In pure electric mode, it typically covers 50 to 60 kilometers, which perfectly meets my daily commuting needs. With the hybrid gasoline-electric drive, a full tank can easily exceed 700 kilometers on long trips, and the fuel consumption is remarkably low on highways, averaging just over 4 liters per 100 kilometers combined. Charging is convenient—it takes about 6 hours to fully charge from a household socket, and public fast charging gets it done in just 2 hours. However, real-world usage is significantly affected by weather. In summer, using air conditioning reduces the range by about 10%, while in winter, the cold decreases battery activity, leading to shorter range, so I have to pay attention to charging frequency. Overall, it offers great value for money, saving on electricity while being capable of handling long-distance trips when needed.

As someone who has been following hybrid vehicles for a long time, the Emgrand PHEV's range is quite impressive: the official pure electric range is around 60 kilometers, and in real-world urban driving conditions, it easily reaches 55 kilometers. The total combined range can extend up to 800 kilometers. The key lies in its efficient dual-motor system—electric motors provide quick and fuel-efficient starts, while the engine smoothly takes over at higher speeds, making the transition between electric and hybrid modes almost imperceptible. I've also experimented with different driving habits—eco mode delivers longer range, while aggressive acceleration slightly reduces it. With the increasing availability of charging stations, it's become much more convenient, though battery aging may lead to a slight decrease in range after a few years. This design strikes a balance between practicality and environmental friendliness, making it highly recommended for those looking to save money while still enjoying road trips.

How to Turn On the Rear Fog Light of a Car?

To turn on the rear fog light of a car, you need to rotate the light lever located on the left side of the steering wheel. In some car models, the fog light switch is part of the lighting control assembly under the dashboard and requires pressing to activate. The prerequisite for turning on the rear fog light is that the parking lights or the headlights of the vehicle must be switched on. The replacement method for the rear fog light is as follows: 1. Open the trunk of the vehicle and remove the fixing screws on both sides of the luggage compartment; 2. Loosen the fixing screws of the rear wheel fenders, then pry open the clips under the vehicle and the tail light clips; 3. After removing the rear trim panel, check for any wiring harness connections, then remove the rear fog light trim panel; 4. Install the fog light socket onto the original trim panel and connect the wiring harness.

Do all new cars come with a protective film?

When cars leave the factory, they are coated with a layer of original car wax, commonly referred to as rough wax, to protect the paint from damage. This is why there's a process called 'wax removal' for new cars. Nowadays, specialized wax remover is used for this process, followed by surface treatment and cleaning, before applying a new coat of car wax to ensure the vehicle's glossiness. Here's some relevant information about car waxing: 1. Introduction: As a traditional aspect of car care, waxing primarily serves to waterproof and protect against acid rain. The wax reduces the amount of water droplets that adhere to the car's surface. 2. Waxing Frequency: Theoretically, the interval between car waxing depends on how long the wax layer remains effective on the paint surface, which in turn is determined by the quality of the wax used.

What Does Middle East Version Car Mean?

Middle East version cars refer to vehicles produced in the Middle East and imported to China, also known as parallel imported cars. Below is extended information about parallel imported cars: 1. Parallel imported cars bypass sales channels such as general distributors, regional dealers, and 4S stores, eliminating many intermediate steps. Additionally, parallel import dealers are not restricted by manufacturers in pricing, so they often offer significant discounts, typically 10%~20% lower than China-spec vehicles. 2. Advantages in models and delivery time When new models are launched overseas, they sometimes do not immediately enter the Chinese market due to automakers' strategic planning or domestic certification processes. However, as parallel imports, these vehicles are purchased overseas and then shipped to China for sale, greatly reducing waiting time for new models. 3. Richer model configurations Another advantage of parallel imported cars is the ability to purchase overseas models not available in China. Generally, automakers make certain adjustments or modifications to overseas models when importing them to China to align with local market positioning strategies. In contrast, parallel imports are directly sourced from regions like North America or the Middle East, so their configurations may differ from China-spec models.

Can the Camry Hybrid Run on Pure Electric Power?

The Camry Hybrid can run on pure electric power. There are two driving modes for hybrid vehicles: 1. Gasoline-powered. 2. Electric-powered. The advantages are: when the vehicle starts or stops, it is solely driven by the electric motor. The engine does not engage until a certain speed is reached, thus keeping the engine in its optimal operating condition with excellent power performance and very low emissions. Additionally, the electricity is generated by the engine, so only refueling is required. The eighth-generation Camry facelift is equipped with three powertrains: TNGA 2.5L HEV, TNGA 2.5L, and TNGA 2.0L, including ten models across three series: the Luxury Edition, Sport Edition, and Hybrid Edition. All models meet the China VI emission standards. In terms of appearance, the eighth-generation Camry features dual styling designs for the Luxury Edition and Sport Edition, both derived from Toyota's latest Keen Look design language.

What brand is Alto?

Alto is an economical compact car brand under China Changan Suzuki. In the early 1990s, four Chinese military-industrial enterprises (namely Chongqing Changan Alto, Hunan Jiangnan Alto, Jilin Jiangbei Alto, and Xi'an Qinchuan Alto) obtained the relevant technology and production equipment for the Suzuki Alto model from Japan, enabling independent production of Alto vehicles. Extended technical specifications are as follows: Engine: The all-new JL368Q3 engine installed in the Suzuki Alto "City Baby" EFI model adopts Bosch's advanced Motronic 1.5.4P multi-point sequential injection system with closed-loop air-fuel ratio feedback control, featuring multi-point injection, closed-loop control, knock control, carbon canister control, and air conditioning control. Dry ignition coil: The dry ignition coil in the Baby model significantly improves reliability, extends service life, and enhances ignition energy. The adoption of contactless distributors provides higher ignition energy compared to older models, resulting in better starting, idling, and acceleration performance. It also improves exhaust emissions. The ignition module includes voltage protection, current protection, and parking protection, capable of automatic shutdown.
