I've been driving the GAC Aion LX for half a year now. The official range of 650 km is based on NEDC test results, but in actual driving, it generally fluctuates between 450-550 km. City commuting conditions are better, allowing for around 500 km; on highways, increased wind resistance reduces it to just over 400 km. Many factors affect the range, such as using the AC which can decrease it by 10%, while eco mode can actually save some power. The battery is an 80kWh ternary lithium battery, which has a large capacity, but don't take the advertised specs too rigidly—real-world experience is more important. For charging, fast charging can get you to 80% in half an hour, which is quite convenient. Personally, I find it sufficient for daily use, just check charging points before long trips. When choosing a car, consider the differences between versions—the base 550 km version offers good value for money.

From a technical perspective, the Aion LX's range varies significantly depending on the configuration. The base model comes with a 73.7kWh battery, rated for 500km under NEDC standards; the high-end version, such as the flagship model, features an 80kWh battery with an official range of 650km. Actual usage typically sees a reduction of 15-25%, with even greater power consumption in winter due to heating and air conditioning. While the motor is efficient, high-speed driving incurs significant wind resistance losses, averaging around 450km in urban conditions. It's advisable to pay attention to battery thermal management, as low temperatures have a substantial impact. Maintaining proper tire pressure and gentle acceleration can extend the range by approximately 50km. Fast charging is convenient, but frequent supercharging should be avoided to prevent battery damage. When selecting a vehicle, testing data under different driving conditions is more reliable. Long-term battery degradation monitoring is a critical metric.

I use the Aion LX as my daily commuter, and the official range is 650 kilometers. In reality, driving over 200 kilometers a week for work and school runs means I only need to charge once a week, which is more than enough. Weekend trips to the suburbs, covering about 200 kilometers round trip, leave me with around 40% battery—no stress. Charging stations are everywhere and convenient. Driving in standard mode, I average around 500 kilometers per charge. Using the AC has a minor impact, and while winter heating consumes more power, it's manageable. Overall, it's stable, reliable, and worry-free. The kids find it comfortable, with no major issues. Opting for the base 500-kilometer version is cost-effective and easy to maintain. For families, it's a practical choice without unnecessary extras.

When purchasing the Aion LX, I focused on comparing the range: the base model is rated at 500 km, while the high-end version offers 650 km. The salesperson reminded me that it's normal for the actual range to be about 100 km less. I test-drove it in both city and highway conditions, and the difference between winter and summer was significant: in cold weather with the heater on, the range dropped below 400 km. It's advisable to test the battery condition before choosing a model and check the charging network coverage. Personally, I opted for the base model, as its 300 km range is sufficient for my daily commute within that range, and I plan charging times for longer trips. Factors affecting range include steep roads, low tire pressure, and more. Fast charging is convenient, topping up 80% in just half an hour. For maintenance, avoid deep discharges to extend battery life. Choose a model based on actual needs rather than blindly opting for higher specifications.

What is the complete process of the Subject 3 driving test?

Subject 3 driving test is conducted sequentially according to the established test items. Each item is usually preceded by a voice prompt. The following are all the test items and their sequence for Subject 3: Preparation before getting on the car: For the first time getting on the car, verify identity information first, and get off the car after the safety officer confirms. Perform a vehicle inspection, and confirm safety. After getting on the car, adjust the rearview mirror and seat position, and check whether the gear, handbrake, lights, etc. have been reset. Starting: Turn on the left turn signal and start with gear 1. Straight-line driving: Ensure straight-line driving by slightly adjusting the steering wheel (excessive adjustment will lead to disqualification). Gear shifting: You can keep your left hand on the steering wheel and your right hand on the gear lever. Be careful not to skip gears, and pause briefly in the neutral position each time you shift gears to avoid the system misjudging the operation as an error due to too fast operation. Lane change: When you hear "Please change lanes," turn on the turn signal, and wait for 3 seconds before turning the steering wheel. Going straight through an intersection: Slow down in advance and shift to a low gear (1-2). Stop and wait if necessary, and do not compete with pedestrians. Left turn at an intersection: When you hear "Left turn ahead," turn on the left turn signal in advance (wait for 3 seconds before turning left). Right turn at an intersection: When you hear "Right turn ahead," turn on the right turn signal in advance (wait for 3 seconds before turning right). Passing a crosswalk: When you hear "Crosswalk ahead," slow down and reduce speed to below 30km/h. Passing a school zone: Slow down to below 30km/h in advance and pass slowly in gear 2. Passing a bus stop: When the student sees a bus stop ahead, slow down to below 30km/h in advance. Meeting: When vehicles meet, the student should pay attention to oncoming vehicles and drive on the right side of the lane until the meeting is over. Overtaking: When overtaking, turn on the left turn signal first, observe the vehicles in the left rear lane through the rearview mirror, and confirm safety. After the turn signal has been on for 3 seconds, turn the steering wheel to the left and gradually enter the left lane to overtake. When overtaking the vehicle, confirm a safe distance from the overtaken vehicle, turn on the right turn signal, and observe the vehicles in the right rear lane. After confirming safety and waiting for the right turn signal to be on for 3 seconds, return to the original lane. U-turn: Before making a U-turn, slow down and shift to a lower gear, turn on the left turn signal in advance (more than 3 seconds), and make a quick U-turn after confirming safety. Simulated night driving: Do not rush to answer. Complete the specified operation within 5 seconds after the voice prompt is completed. Pulling over: The candidate turns on the right turn signal (more than 3 seconds), parks the vehicle (right side) parallel to the curb (or solid line at the edge of the road) within 30 cm, but does not press the curb (or solid line at the edge of the road), stabilizes the vehicle, pulls up the parking brake, and shifts to neutral.

Can I Get 6 Points Deducted Just After Obtaining My Driver's License?

Yes, you can get 6 points deducted just after obtaining your driver's license. For large vehicle licenses, deducting 6 points during the probationary period will extend the probation by one year. However, for ordinary small vehicle licenses, there is no significant impact, except that accumulating 12 points will result in the revocation of your driving privileges. Additional Information: According to Article 79 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses," if a driver accumulates 12 points for traffic violations during the probationary period, the driving privileges for the vehicle type under probation will be revoked. If the revoked license is not for the highest permitted vehicle type, the highest permitted vehicle type driving privileges will also be revoked as per the first paragraph of Article 78. New Regulations on Driver's License Points Deduction: Driving under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle that does not match the licensed type, or carrying more than 20% of the allowed capacity on a school bus will result in 12 points deducted at once. Driving with a suspended license or violating traffic signals will result in 6 points deducted. Driving below the minimum speed limit on highways or failing to undergo regular safety inspections will result in 3 points deducted. Not driving according to regulations or engaging in unsafe driving practices will result in 2 points deducted. Improper use of lights, failure to yield when meeting another vehicle, or not carrying a driver's license will result in 1 point deducted. Therefore, drivers must strictly adhere to legal requirements to ensure road safety. The Role of a Driver's License: A driver's license certifies that the holder is legally permitted to drive. Officially known as a Motor Vehicle Driver's License, or simply "driver's license," it is a legal document required for operating motor vehicles. In China, a driver's license is defined as a legal credential issued by the authorities to individuals who have learned and mastered traffic regulations and driving skills, passed the required tests, and are permitted to drive specific types of motor vehicles.

Differences Between Right-Side and Left-Side Reverse Parking

The differences between right-side and left-side reverse parking are as follows: 1. The steering wheel turning directions are different. For right-side parking, turn the steering wheel fully to the right; for left-side parking, turn it fully to the left. 2. In right-side parking, observe the left rearview mirror - turn the wheel fully right when the mirror's lower edge passes the right boundary line, then enter the space. 3. For left-side parking, observe the left rearview mirror about 10cm earlier compared to right-side parking. Precautions for reverse parking: 1. Generally start in 1st gear; avoid selecting wrong gear. 2. Don't turn the steering wheel in wrong direction: both hands turn right when approaching, single hand turns left when reversing. 3. Slowly release the clutch to prevent stalling. 4. When controlling speed well, turn the steering wheel as quickly as possible. If conflicting, prioritize speed control. 5. When stopping unexpectedly, also release clutch slowly to avoid stalling. 6. Never misidentify poles and strictly prevent car from hitting them. 7. When returning the steering wheel, don't miscount turns. 8. Stay relaxed and maintain an easy-going attitude. 9. Wear thick-soled sneakers.
