The Vehicle Conformity Certificate is a certification document that verifies the conformity of a vehicle in accordance with Announcement No. 1 of 2008 issued by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee, which revised the "Compulsory Certification Implementation Rules for Motor Vehicle Categories (Automotive Products)." Purpose of the Vehicle Conformity Certificate: The purpose of the Vehicle Conformity Certificate is to clearly inform consumers about the vehicle's information. It ensures that the vehicle's details are consistent. Without this certificate, the vehicle cannot leave the factory. However, the Vehicle Conformity Certificate is not required for vehicle registration. Composition of the Certificate: The Vehicle Conformity Certificate number consists of four parts. The first part is the CCC factory code (a 7-digit combination of letters and numbers provided by the certification body). The second part is the vehicle model series code (composed of 4 letters or numbers), defined by the manufacturer and consistent with the content in Appendix 2, Section 1. This code cannot be reused within 5 years after the model series is discontinued. The third part is the conformity certificate serial code (comprising no more than 12 letters or numbers), defined by the manufacturer. The requirement is that different Vehicle Conformity Certificates (excluding vehicle identification numbers, engine numbers, and colors) cannot use the same code, and vehicles that cannot be classified under the same model according to the rules in Attachment 1 cannot share the same code. The fourth part is the conformity certificate version number (consistent with the revision number of the Compulsory Product Certification Certificate for the vehicle). It is recommended to use electronic codes for the numbering.
