What is the purpose of cleaning fuel injectors?

Cleaning fuel injectors serves the following purposes: 1. Improves engine power and restores it to optimal condition; 2. Maintains smooth engine operation; 3. Reduces exhaust emissions. A fuel injector is a simple solenoid valve. When the electromagnetic coil is energized, it generates suction, lifting the needle valve and opening the injection port. Fuel is sprayed at high speed through the annular gap between the needle valve head and the injection port, forming a mist that facilitates complete combustion. The recommended cleaning interval for fuel injectors is every 2 years or approximately 50,000 to 80,000 kilometers. Failure to clean them promptly can lead to insufficient engine power, rough idling, and difficulty starting. The cleaning process is divided into two methods: in-place cleaning and disassembly cleaning of fuel injectors.
