The main function of the clutch is to ensure smooth starting of the vehicle, reduce the impact load on the transmission gears during gear shifting, and prevent overload of the transmission system. The clutch consists of four main components as follows: (1) Driving part: flywheel, pressure plate, clutch cover, etc. (2) Driven part: driven disc, driven shaft (i.e., the first shaft of the transmission). (3) Pressure part: pressure spring. (4) Operating mechanism: release lever, release lever support column, swing pin, release sleeve, release bearing, clutch pedal, etc.
