In multi-axle drive vehicles, the drive axles are connected by drive shafts. To allow each drive axle to potentially have different input angular velocities and eliminate the sliding phenomenon of the wheels on each axle, a central differential, also known as an inter-axle differential, can be installed between the drive axles. When turning, the distances covered by the inner and outer wheels along their respective curves in the same time period are obviously different, with the outer wheels covering a greater distance than the inner wheels. If both wheels are fixed to the same rigid rotating shaft and rotate at the same angular speed, the outer wheel will inevitably experience a combination of rolling and sliding, while the inner wheel will experience a combination of rolling and skidding. 2. When driving straight on uneven road surfaces, the actual distances covered by the left and right wheels are also unequal, necessitating adjustment by the central differential.
