Download and log in to the Traffic Management 12123 app. Click on 'Motor Vehicle Services' and then 'Replacement of Motor Vehicle License Plates' to enter the license plate replacement process. Follow the steps to fill in the relevant information. Once the new license plate or vehicle registration certificate is ready, it can be mailed to your home. Online replacement of license plates requires an additional mailing fee. This function is only available for replacing license plates of vehicles registered under your name. The vehicle owner must be a real-name registered individual user on the internet to proceed. If you are replacing a damaged license plate, you do not need to provide the original damaged plate. However, if you are changing the license plate number, you must provide the damaged plate.

I also encountered a damaged license plate last year and promptly went to the DMV to get a replacement. The process is actually quite simple. First, take photos as evidence to avoid future hassles. Then bring your ID card, vehicle license, and original vehicle registration certificate directly to the local DMV. Fill out an application form for a replacement license plate, submit it, and pay a small fee of around a few dozen yuan. Once approved, you can get the new license plate on the spot and install it at home by tightening the screws yourself. The whole process took me half a day, so I recommend going on a weekday morning when it's less crowded and there's no queue. Don’t forget to hand over the old license plate to the staff for recycling—staying legal and compliant is the most important thing. Always check your license plate regularly while driving to avoid excessive wear and tear causing issues.

Can 95 Octane Gasoline Be Added After Using 98 Octane?

It is possible to add 95 octane gasoline after using 98 octane, but it is important to avoid mixing different octane grades. Different octane ratings indicate varying levels of fuel anti-knock performance, with higher octane numbers offering better anti-knock properties. Gasoline is a volatile, flammable hydrocarbon mixture liquid derived from petroleum through processes like distillation, cracking, or pyrolysis. Key characteristics of gasoline include volatility, stability, anti-knock performance, corrosiveness, and cleanliness. Engines with high compression ratios should use high-octane gasoline; using low-octane gasoline in such engines can lead to abnormal combustion, causing knocking and reduced driving performance.

What is the difference between manual and automatic transmission?

Here are the differences between manual and automatic transmission: 1. Vehicle price difference: For the same model and configuration, the automatic transmission variant is more expensive than the manual transmission version. 2. Different transmission systems: Automatic transmission vehicles use an automatic gearbox, while manual transmission vehicles use a manual gearbox. 3. Different driving methods: When driving an automatic transmission vehicle, you only need to shift to the desired gear (e.g., shifting to Drive for forward movement) without manual gear changes, as the transmission shifts automatically; whereas manual transmission requires the driver to manually shift gears according to vehicle speed and engine RPM. 4. Clutch pedal difference: Automatic transmission vehicles don't have a clutch pedal, while manual transmission vehicles do. 5. Gear indicator difference: The gear indicators for automatic transmission are P, R, N, D, etc., while manual transmission uses numerical indicators like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and R.

What width of tires is suitable for 8j rims?

8j rims are suitable for tires with widths of 225mm, 235mm, and 245mm. The rim is the central part of the wheel where the axle is installed, connecting components such as the brake drum, wheel disc, and half-shaft. The rim is a component used to bear the rigid rotational inertia between the car and the tire, also known as the wheel ring or steel ring. Larger rims can accommodate bigger brake systems, and wider rims allow for higher-performance tires. Precautions for daily use of rims include: 1. Allow the rim to cool naturally when it is hot; do not use cold water for cleaning. 2. Avoid using overly stiff brushes to remove stubborn stains from the rim, as this may damage it.
