What is the procedure after a vehicle is stolen?

Timely report the case to the police, be sure to preserve the scene of the incident, and report to the criminal investigation department of the public security within 24 hours. Publish a vehicle search notice in the city-level newspaper where the incident occurred and keep the current issue of the newspaper. Obtain a certificate of unsolved case from the vehicle management department. If the vehicle is recovered within 3 months of being stolen, it will be returned to the insured, and the insurance company will compensate according to the actual repair costs. If the entire vehicle is not recovered within 3 months of being stolen, the insurance company will compensate according to the actual value of the vehicle at the time of the incident based on the policy terms.
