A hydrogen fuel cell is a power generation device that directly converts the chemical energy of hydrogen and oxygen into electrical energy. Hydrogen fuel cells are non-polluting to the environment, primarily utilizing electrochemistry rather than combustion. Combustion releases toxic substances that pollute the atmosphere, whereas fuel cell reactions only produce water and heat, causing no atmospheric pollution. If the hydrogen is produced from renewable energy sources, the entire cycle becomes a completely emission-free process without any harmful substance release.
