The actions of the Mercedes-Benz owner caused economic losses to other residents and require legal liability. According to Article 182 of the Civil Code, if emergency measures are taken improperly or exceed necessary limits, resulting in undue harm, the person taking emergency measures shall bear appropriate civil liability. Below is relevant information about Mercedes-Benz: Meaning of the logo: The three-pointed star of Mercedes-Benz symbolizes the ambition to conquer land, sea, and air. This emblem was created after the merger of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie. The original trademark of Daimler was a three-pointed star, while Benz's trademark was the word "Benz" within a double circle. After the merger, the trademark of Daimler-Benz became a three-pointed star within a single circle. Name of Mercedes-Benz's joint venture in China: Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd., established on August 8, 2005, is a joint venture between Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd., Daimler AG, and Daimler Greater China Ltd. The headquarters is located in Beijing, and the brand's products include the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, C-Class, and GLK.
I've given this some serious thought. That incident where the Mercedes blocked the garage exit made quite a stir. The owner blocked the garage exit for a full 24 hours over a parking space dispute, and in the end, the police showed up and gave him administrative detention for disturbing public order. At the end of the day, no matter the reason, you can't break the law by blocking roads. Personally, I think the property management should have planned more emergency lanes when designing the parking spaces, and the neighborhood should have a mediation team specifically for parking disputes—otherwise, how could things escalate like this? The owner even had to compensate the neighbors who were stuck inside for their lost wages. Was it really worth it? It would have been much better to just report it to the police station from the start, avoiding both jail time and compensation, not to mention annoying the entire neighborhood.
