The original engine oil model for the Honda Vezel is 0W20. After 150,000 kilometers, 0W30 engine oil can be used for better engine protection. If you frequently engage in aggressive driving or often drive on highways, you can directly use 0W30 engine oil. Engine oil model: The number before W represents the lowest temperature at which the oil can be used, indicating its low-temperature viscosity. The number after W represents the kinematic viscosity of the oil at 100 degrees, with higher values indicating higher viscosity. The Vezel is positioned as a compact SUV, with dimensions of 4328mm in length, 1772mm in width, and 1605mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2610mm. There are currently only 12 models of the Vezel available, divided into China V and China VI versions. All Vezel models adopt a front-engine, front-wheel-drive configuration.
When I drove the Vezel before, I paid special attention to the engine oil type. The manufacturer recommended 0W-20 full synthetic oil, which is also marked on the oil filler cap. During my last maintenance visit at the 4S shop, the technician mentioned that this grade is particularly suitable for the Earth Dreams engine, offering better high-temperature protection without increasing fuel consumption. However, it's important to note that there might be slight variations for different model years—my 2019 model's manual clearly specifies the use of 0W-20. Even after covering over 80,000 kilometers, the engine remains remarkably quiet, proving the importance of regular maintenance. I recommend checking the oil condition every 5,000 kilometers. If you're buying oil yourself, make sure to look for SN or SP grade certification and avoid cheap, off-brand products.
