The operation method for setting cruise control on the new LaCrosse is: Press the cruise control on/off button, RES+: Briefly push the control device upward to resume the previously set speed or hold it upward to accelerate. If cruise control is already enabled, use this to increase vehicle speed; SET-: Briefly push the control device downward to set the speed and activate cruise control. If cruise control is already enabled, use this to decrease vehicle speed. If equipped with a traction control system, this system may be limited when using cruise control. If this occurs, cruise control will automatically turn off. When a collision warning occurs while cruise control is enabled, cruise control will turn off. When road conditions allow for safe reactivation of cruise control, it will be enabled again. Applying the brakes will deactivate cruise control.

I tried the cruise control on the new LaCrosse just a couple of days ago, and the steps were quite simple. When the speed exceeds 40 km/h, there's a button with a speedometer icon on the left side of the steering wheel—press it to illuminate, and a white cruise indicator will appear on the dashboard. Then, drive at your desired speed, say 110 km/h on the highway, and press the SET- paddle on the left side of the steering wheel to set the speed. During cruising, you can use RES+ to accelerate or SET- to decerate at any time, with each press changing the speed by 1 km/h. Press the brake or the cancel button to exit cruise control, and press RES+ to resume the previous speed if needed. My shoulders didn't ache even on long drives—the system responds quite sensitively.

The cruise control buttons for the new LaCrosse are located on the left spoke of the steering wheel. Before operation, ensure the vehicle speed exceeds 40 km/h. First, activate the main cruise switch (the button with a speedometer icon), and a white cruise indicator will appear on the instrument cluster, signaling standby status. After accelerating to the desired speed, gently push the SET- lever downward to set the current speed. While driving, if you need to adjust the speed, push the RES+ lever upward to increase speed or push the SET- lever downward to decrease speed. In situations requiring temporary control, simply apply the brakes to automatically disengage cruise control. To resume cruise control afterward, conveniently press the RES+ button. The feedback force of the steering wheel buttons is just right.

I often use the cruise control when driving my new LaCrosse. Once the speed exceeds 40 km/h, I press the main circular switch with a speedometer icon on the left side of the steering wheel, which activates a white cruise indicator on the instrument panel. After accelerating to the desired speed, I toggle the SET- button below to lock the speed. During driving, I can fine-tune the speed using RES+ and SET- buttons, with each press adjusting by 1 km/h. The cruise control deactivates when braking or pressing the central cancel button, but pressing RES+ resumes the original speed. The button placement at the nine o'clock position is quite ergonomic.
