What is the normal tire pressure for the Boyue?

The normal tire pressure range for the Boyue is 2.4-2.5 bar. Due to seasonal factors, the tire pressure can be appropriately increased by 0.2 bar in winter and decreased by 0.1 bar in summer. This data is based on the international GBT2978-2008 standard requirements. To check the current tire pressure of the Boyue during daily driving, you can activate the tire pressure monitoring system. The tire pressure monitoring button for the Geely Boyue is located at the top of the lever under the steering wheel on the left side. There is a round button; pressing it will allow you to view the tire pressure on the dashboard. Generally, a tire pressure above 2.8 bar is considered too high, and a tire pressure below 2.0 bar is considered too low. High-speed driving under these conditions may lead to a tire blowout. If the tire pressure monitoring indicator light comes on (a yellow symbol with an irregular circle, no seal on top, four small spikes at the bottom, and an exclamation mark inside), there are generally three possible reasons: Abnormal tire pressure: Usually, an alarm is triggered when the pressure is below 1.8 bar or above 3.0 bar. In this case, tire inspection and pressure adjustment are required. Tire pressure monitoring not reset: After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure is not reset in time, the system will still record the previous data, causing the tire pressure monitoring indicator to light up. Simply performing a tire pressure reset will resolve this issue. Damaged tire pressure sensor: The tire pressure sensor, which monitors tire pressure, is installed inside the tire and connected to the tire inflation valve. If the sensor is damaged due to impact while driving, it can also trigger the tire pressure warning light. For sensor damage issues, the only solution is to replace the sensor with a new one.
