What is the normal pressure range for a supercharger?

For ordinary family cars, the normal pressure range for a supercharger is between 1.2bar and 1.5bar. Modified cars that pursue higher horsepower will increase the supercharger pressure, with some vehicles even reaching up to 3.5bar. However, this pressure level is relatively dangerous for family cars. A turbocharger is essentially an air compressor that increases intake air volume by compressing air. It utilizes the inertial force of exhaust gases expelled by the engine to drive the turbine in the turbine housing, which in turn drives the coaxial impeller. The impeller then pressurizes the air delivered through the air filter pipeline, forcing it into the cylinders under increased pressure.
