What is the normal oil temperature for a Volkswagen CC?
1 Answers
The normal oil temperature for a Volkswagen CC is between 110-115°C, with a maximum temperature of 119°C. Operating temperature: During normal driving, due to the effect of the coolant, the oil temperature will drop to around 80~90°C. At low speeds, the coolant temperature will rise, and the oil temperature will correspondingly increase to about 100°C. If the vehicle is driven at higher speeds, the oil temperature can reach around 110°C, but it typically does not exceed 120°C. Additionally, the design temperature of the oil is generally around 130°C, which is higher than the coolant temperature. During aggressive driving, the oil temperature can even reach or exceed 150°C. Reasons for temperature increase: The rise in oil temperature can be attributed to increased resistance in coolant flow due to radiator scale or dirt buildup, or reduced coolant flow caused by a loose water pump belt.
