What is the normal fuel pressure?
1 Answers
Normal fuel pressure is between 300 and 350 kilopascals. A fuel pressure gauge is used to measure the pressure of the fuel supply system, assess the working conditions of fuel system components such as the electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator, and serves as a specialized tool for inspecting and diagnosing faults in the fuel system. The method for using an engine fuel pressure gauge is as follows: 1. Start the engine and run it until it reaches normal operating temperature; 2. Turn off the car, and after the engine stops running, remove all spark plugs; 3. Fully open the throttle and press the gauge's connector tightly against the spark plug hole; 4. Use the starter to crank the engine at 100 to 150 rpm for 3 to 5 seconds; 5. The pointer on the gauge will gradually rise and stop at a certain value, which indicates the engine's fuel pressure.
