Before entering a right-angle turn, the vehicle should drive close to the right side, maintaining a distance of approximately 0.1m between the right wheels and the right edge of the road. When the vehicle reaches the point where the driver aligns with the inner right-angle protrusion, quickly turn the steering wheel to the left to its limit position. Once the left rear wheel passes the inner right-angle protrusion, gradually steer to the right to exit the turn, straightening the vehicle before completely leaving the turn.

Last time I taught my neighbor's little sister to drive, I told her that the dumbest but absolutely safest method for a right-angled turn is to crawl along using reference points. Keep the speed below 10km/h—before fully turning the steering wheel, make sure the front of the car is about 30cm from the right curb (roughly the length of a water bottle). Focus on a specific point on your right window—I usually use the bottom edge of the side mirror to align with the curb. Once your shoulder passes the corner's edge, immediately turn the wheel all the way to the right. Only straighten the wheel after the rear of the car has completely cleared the turn. This trick works great during driving tests, though cars behind you will honk like crazy. Remember, it's better to reverse and adjust than to force the turn—scraping the rims against the curb will hurt your wallet.

The dumbest way to navigate a right-angled turn? Treat it like a driving test! First, hug the right side within 30cm and creep forward slowly. Stop when the raised dot on the right wiper presses against the curb. Before fully turning the wheel, always tilt the mirror downward to check the rear wheel position. Keep speed below 10km/h throughout - if the rear wheel nears the line, stop and reverse to adjust. My instructor scolded me most for right-angle turns during license tests, until I discovered that keeping speed slower than a bicycle and turning the wheel quickly usually works. Just remember to readjust the mirror after completing the turn.

What is Toyota Dual Hybrid?

Dual Hybrid, which means two engines jointly drive the vehicle, namely a gasoline engine and an electric motor. These two power units will work individually or collaboratively according to different situations and user needs. The following are the advantages of Dual Hybrid: 1. Strong smoothness: It is difficult to detect the intervention of the engine during acceleration, and the vehicle speeds up smoothly without abruptness. 2. Excellent noise control: According to relevant tests, the noise inside the cabin is only 36.2 decibels under idle conditions. In pure electric mode, only wind noise and tire noise can be heard, and the sound insulation effect is excellent after the engine intervenes.

What are the light requirements for parallel parking?

When parallel parking, the light requirements are to turn on the right turn signal when reversing to the right, and turn on the left turn signal when exiting the parallel parking space. Below are some tips for parallel parking in the driving test (Subject 2): 1. Observe the target parking space: Check if the target parking space is suitable. After confirming, drive past the space. Align your right-side mirror with the B-pillar of the adjacent vehicle, maintaining a distance of about 1m between the two vehicles, then turn the steering wheel fully to the right. 2. Steering wheel: Keep the steering wheel turned fully to the right and slowly reverse. When you see the right headlight of the rear vehicle in your left-side mirror, quickly turn the steering wheel fully to the left (or turn the wheel in place) and continue reversing. 3. Right-side mirror: Adjust the right-side mirror slightly downward to observe the distance between the right rear wheel and the curb. Control the steering to bring the vehicle as close to the curb as possible while leaving enough space to straighten the car. 4. Car body: As the car slowly straightens, pay attention to the distance from the rear vehicle. You can use the parking sensors/rearview camera for judgment or turn your head to look. If you still can't accurately judge the distance, you may need to step out and check. Then, slowly reverse further and try to align the car as straight as possible.
