Motorcycles with an engine displacement of 50cc or above are permitted on highways. According to Article 67 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China: pedestrians, non-motor vehicles, tractors, wheeled special-purpose machinery vehicles, articulated buses, full trailers, and other motor vehicles with a designed maximum speed below 70 kilometers per hour are prohibited from entering highways. The above regulations do not include motorcycles in the prohibition. Therefore, motorcycles are legally allowed to travel on highways. Below are the requirements for motorcycles on highways: 1. The maximum speed of a motorcycle on the highway must not exceed 80 km/h, and the minimum speed must not be below 60 km/h. 2. When riding a motorcycle on the highway, the driver must carry their driver's license, vehicle registration, helmet, etc., and passengers are not allowed on the back seat. Riding a motorcycle on the highway without even the most basic helmet is highly dangerous.
