Skoda reset maintenance reminder method is: 1. Remove the vehicle key, turn off the engine, and hold down the trip meter reset button; 2. Start the vehicle, release the trip meter reset button, at which point the service indicator will appear on the display; 3. Then turn the minute button on the vehicle's instrument panel to the right, and the mileage will be displayed; 4. Turn off the vehicle, and the reminder message will reset; 5. Turn the ignition switch to the on position. Taking the 2020 Comfort version Skoda as an example, its body dimensions are: 4675mm in length, 1814mm in width, 1460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2686mm.
Last time my Octavia showed a maintenance reminder, I cleared it myself. After turning off the car, first press and hold the small round button on the right side of the dashboard marked 0.0/SET. Then turn the key to power on (but don't start the engine). When the center display suddenly shows maintenance reset, immediately release the button and quickly press it once more - the reminder will disappear. This method works for most Škoda models including Fabia and Kodiaq. If you can't locate the button, check the owner's manual in the glovebox. Remember to press decisively - holding too long might trigger the tire pressure warning. After clearing, it's still wise to note down the next maintenance date, since while the system resets, the actual component lifespans don't.
