What is the method of using eco?

eco usage method is: 1. When driving at an economical speed (usually between 60 to 90 kilometers per hour), turning on eco can save fuel, and some vehicles can even control the air conditioning to save electricity; 2. For active eco mode, there is usually a dedicated control button that the driver can turn on when needed. Generally, eco mode can be turned off when the speed exceeds 120 kilometers per hour, during idle parking, in N or P gear, or in manual mode. The purpose of eco is to remind the driver to maintain good driving habits during daily driving, reducing energy consumption and emissions.
The ECO mode is quite convenient to use. I've developed a habit of pressing that button as soon as I get in the car. It's usually located on the center console or near the steering wheel, with an icon resembling a leaf or labeled 'ECO'. When activated, the system optimizes engine output and transmission shift points, making the car accelerate more smoothly and avoiding unnecessary hard throttle presses. This is especially useful in city traffic jams, saving a significant amount on fuel costs. In terms of its working principle, it may also adjust the power consumption of the air conditioning compressor to maintain more stable temperature control and avoid energy waste. Through daily driving, I've found that combining gentle braking and anticipating road conditions can further improve fuel efficiency. However, it's important to remind myself to turn it off during highway overtaking or mountain driving, as the power response might not keep up, potentially affecting safe driving. After long-term use, I've noticed that each tank of fuel can last dozens of kilometers more, making it truly practical.
