Car shock absorber replacement method is: 1. Loosen the wheel nuts in a diagonal sequence, but do not remove them completely. Use a lift to raise the vehicle to a height that is convenient for operation; 2. Remove all wheel nuts in a diagonal sequence and take off the wheels. Some models may require removing the brake caliper for easier shock absorber removal. Remove the control arm fixing bolts, then loosen the fixing nut of the spring strut arm; 3. Use a clamp jack to secure the shock absorber arm. Open the engine hood and loosen the upper body fixing nut of the shock absorber. Completely loosen the upper body fixing nut of the shock absorber and remove it; 4. After removing the shock absorber, use a spring compressor to secure the spring. Disassemble and replace damaged components and rubber boots of the shock absorber. Apply grease during reassembly to enhance wear resistance; 5. Secure the upper part of the shock absorber to the car body to prevent it from falling. Use a clamp jack to secure the shock absorber arm and lift it upwards to ensure the lower part can be placed on the front axle support. Then tighten the upper body fixing nut of the shock absorber properly; 6. After replacing the shock absorber, use a wrench to tighten the wheel fixing nuts. The shock absorber replacement is now complete.
