Methods for removing stickers from cars: 1. Use a dedicated adhesive remover spray. These are available at large supermarkets or auto repair shops. Follow the instructions for use, which are very simple and convenient. 2. Apply a hot towel to the car sticker, then peel it off. For any remaining adhesive, apply medicated oil, alcohol, or hand cream and wipe it off. 3. Use a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the car sticker, waiting slowly for the adhesive to soften. Then peel it off gradually while continuing to apply heat, pulling it off along the edges. If there is any adhesive residue, use tar remover to wipe it off. 4. Use turpentine or medicated oil to remove the sticker. After peeling off the sticker, apply medicated oil to the adhesive marks and wait for 1-2 minutes. Once the medicated oil has fully penetrated the adhesive marks, use a plastic card or your fingernail to gently scrape them off, effectively cleaning the adhesive marks.
I previously removed car decals myself using a heat gun or hair dryer. First, I heated the decal for a few minutes to soften it, which reduced its adhesive strength and made it easier to peel off. Then, I used a plastic scraper to slowly lift the edges. When peeling, it's important to maintain a steady speed and not rush, as doing so can leave more adhesive residue. Finally, if there were any remaining adhesive marks, I sprayed some adhesive remover or alcohol and wiped them clean with a soft cloth. The whole process requires patience and took me about half an hour. Never use a blade or metal tools, as they can scratch the car paint, which is more troublesome. Also, it's best not to do this at noon in the middle of summer, as the high temperature of the car paint can easily cause damage.
