What is the method for adjusting spark plug gap?

Adjusting the spark plug gap involves the following steps: 1. Pull the feeler gauge by hand to sense and memorize the tightness during the pull; 2. Select a feeler gauge with the same thickness as the desired gap adjustment; 3. Hold the spark plug with one hand and gently tap the top of the electrode with a wooden stick using the other hand; 4. After the lower part of the electrode contacts the feeler gauge, pull the gauge out; 5. Adjust until the tightness matches the initial pull tightness. The function of a spark plug: It introduces the high-voltage electricity generated by the ignition coil into the engine cylinder, creating a spark across the electrode gap to ignite the air-fuel mixture. A spark plug consists of a terminal nut, insulator, terminal post, center electrode, side electrode, and shell.
