LXH engine is an upgraded version of the LSY engine. 1. Purpose: The newly released LXH engine for the latest Cadillac XT6 was primarily designed to meet China's National 6B emission standards by adding a particulate filter, with the maximum power reduced to 169KW. Some models also incorporated a 48V hybrid system to improve fuel economy. 2. Additions: Besides the particulate filter in the exhaust system, the LXH engine also reduced cylinder working pressure to avoid side effects caused by exhaust blockage and high temperatures. 3. LSY: The LSY engine was first introduced in August 2018 on the Cadillac XT4 model. This engine is GM's all-new 2.0T variable cylinder turbocharged engine. Compared to the LTG engine, the LSY engine boasts higher technological sophistication and significantly optimized fuel efficiency. With the addition of cylinder deactivation technology, this engine can operate in three modes at different speeds: four-cylinder low-lift mode for daily driving and two-cylinder mode for high-speed cruising.
