G36 is the Nanjing-Luoyang Expressway, abbreviated as Ningluo Expressway, also known as the Ningluo Highway. The total length and significance of the Ningluo Expressway are as follows: Total Length of the Ningluo Expressway: The Ningluo Expressway is a highway connecting Nanjing City and Luoyang City, with a total length of 722 kilometers. It features four lanes in both directions and passes through cities such as Chuzhou, Bengbu, Fuyang, Zhoukou, Luohe, Pingdingshan, and Luoyang. Significance of the Ningluo Expressway: The Ningluo Expressway is a key national trunk highway. Its completion not only provides a rapid passage for the eastern and northern regions of Anhui to the Yangtze River Delta but also plays a significant role in supporting the national Western Development Strategy, improving the investment environment in the central and western regions of Anhui Province, strengthening ties with developed cities in the southeastern coastal areas, promoting economic development in the regions along the route, enhancing the road network layout of Anhui Province, and accelerating the eastward development of Anhui.

I used to frequently drive the G36 for long-distance trips, specifically the Nanjing-Luoyang Expressway, which spans approximately 700 kilometers. I find this route quite pleasant, passing through cities like Chuzhou and Bengbu, which are quite convenient. Most importantly, it connects the logistics network of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, making it a popular route for many transport vehicles. Last year, while driving this section, I noticed that some parts had been expanded, significantly widening the road surface. Although it can get a bit congested during holidays, compared to other expressways, the fueling and rest stops here are quite well-equipped. If you're traveling to Henan for leisure, taking this route is quite time-saving, and you can also visit places like the ancient city of Fengyang along the way.
