Just touched this button a couple of days ago while helping my neighbor adjust the seats. ESPOFF is actually the switch to deactivate the Electronic Stability Program, usually indicated by a skidding car icon. The system stays on by default during normal driving to prevent skidding during sharp turns or fishtailing during hard braking. However, there are special situations when you need to turn it off—for instance, when your wheels are stuck in snow, as the system might otherwise limit the wheel spin needed to get out. Remember to reactivate it immediately after getting unstuck! This feature can be a lifesaver in critical moments, so don’t mess with it unnecessarily.
