Function of run-flat tires: After a tire blowout accident occurs, it allows the vehicle to continue driving at a speed not exceeding 80 kilometers per hour for up to 80 kilometers. The technical name for run-flat tires is "puncture-resistant tires," marked with RSC. Generally, the sidewall of run-flat tires will have the RSC mark. The run-flat feature of these tires lies in their thicker sidewalls. Even when an RSC tire suddenly loses pressure, it can still support the vehicle's movement due to its thicker sidewall, preventing the steering wheel from losing control due to a blowout. A blowout is undoubtedly a fatal blow to a high-speed vehicle. If the speed exceeds 120 km/h, the survival probability of the occupants is extremely low. Therefore, safe driving is the prerequisite for road safety.
