What is the function of engine mounts?

Engine mounts serve the purpose of vibration damping. Rubber material: Generally, exhaust pipe mounts are made of rubber material. This not only secures the exhaust pipe in place but also absorbs engine vibrations, preventing resonance between the vehicle body and the engine. Automotive exhaust bellows, also known as flexible exhaust pipes, are installed between the engine exhaust manifold and the muffler in the exhaust system. They provide flexible connections throughout the exhaust system, thereby reducing vibration and noise, facilitating installation, and extending the lifespan of the exhaust and muffler system. Usage types: They are primarily used in light-duty vehicles, compact cars, and buses. Their structure consists of double-layer bellows covered with a steel wire mesh sleeve, with clamping rings at both ends of the straight sections. To enhance noise reduction, the bellows can be equipped with expansion joints or mesh sleeves internally. Material: The main material is stainless steel SUS304, while the clamps and connecting pipes can be made of stainless steel or aluminized steel.
