Introduction to electrolyzed water: Electrolyzed water refers to the process in which water is decomposed by direct current to produce hydrogen and oxygen. Principle of electrolyzed water: When an electric current passes through water, hydrogen is formed at the cathode through the reduction of water, while oxygen is formed at the anode through the oxidation of water. The amount of hydrogen produced is approximately twice that of oxygen. Composition of electrolyzed water: The simplest electrolyzed water device typically includes a power source, two electrodes (cathode and anode), and an electrolyte (primarily water). At the cathode, water gains electrons and is reduced to form hydrogen, while at the anode, water loses electrons and is oxidized to form oxygen.
