What is the function of an automotive air conditioning dryer?

Automotive air conditioning dryer serves the following functions: 1. Liquid storage: It stores and supplies liquid refrigerant within the refrigeration system to compensate and regulate the surplus or shortage of liquid refrigerant when operating conditions change. At the beginning of the air conditioning system's operation, the load is high, requiring a large circulation of refrigerant. After running for a period, the load decreases, and the required amount of refrigerant also reduces accordingly. 2. Filtration: Although all components of the refrigeration system undergo strict cleaning and drying before leaving the factory, contaminants may be inadvertently introduced during pipeline installation. Additionally, contaminants such as oxide scales may be generated in the pipes, and the refrigerant itself may not be completely clean. There are also powder wear particles produced during compressor operation. 3. Drying: It is used to absorb moisture in Freon.
