The function of a strut bar is to enhance body rigidity and improve the stability of the vehicle during cornering. The full name of the strut bar is the front shock absorber top tie bar, which is commonly referred to as a balance bar in car modifications, also known as a strut bar or front strut bar. The term 'bar' in English means a tie rod. When a car is cornering, centrifugal force causes the vehicle to lean, leading to the suspension of the inner and outer wheels stretching and compressing. However, a softer suspension can exacerbate the lean during cornering. After installing a strut bar, although the stiffness of the car's suspension remains unchanged, the connection of the two front suspensions increases the rigidity of the front part of the car. During cornering, the deformation of the two front suspensions is reduced, and the rebound force generated by the twisting and stretching of the strut bar is used to suppress body roll.
