Fuel is then sprayed at high speed through the annular gap between the needle valve head and the injection hole, forming a fine mist that facilitates complete combustion. There are two types of fuel injection methods. One is called port fuel injection, where fuel is injected into the intake manifold, and the other is direct injection, where fuel is injected directly into the cylinder.
