The function of a fuel injector is to spray fuel into the intake manifold or cylinder according to the injection timing and pulse width calculated by the engine ECU. The fuel injector is essentially an electromagnetic valve, and the ECU controls its operation by regulating the current flow through the electromagnetic valve coil. The fuel injector is a critical component for maintaining engine operation, consisting of the injector body, nozzle, support, spring, etc. High-pressure fuel is pumped into the fuel injector through the fuel inlet, generating high pressure within the injector body that acts on the conical surface of the nozzle. When the fuel pressure exceeds the set value, the nozzle valve opens, and high-pressure fuel is sprayed out through the small holes in the nozzle in a mist form into the engine cylinder for combustion, driving the piston to reciprocate.

The fuel injector plays a central role in a car engine, primarily ensuring that fuel is precisely sprayed into the cylinders or intake manifold, forming a mist that mixes with air to facilitate combustion and generate power. If the fuel injection is inaccurate, the engine may shake like a muscle spasm, fuel consumption may skyrocket, and acceleration may become sluggish. I've repaired many cars, and common issues include clogged nozzles or solenoid valve failures, leading to uneven fuel mixing. Routine maintenance is simple: avoid using low-quality fuel and clean the fuel injector every 20,000 kilometers. The fuel injector is controlled by the vehicle's onboard computer, dynamically adjusting the fuel quantity based on throttle depth and engine load, which improves fuel efficiency, reduces emissions, and ensures smoother and more reliable driving. Paying attention to these small details in daily use can extend the car's lifespan and avoid unnecessary expenses on repairs.

Is it no longer necessary to display the insurance decal now?

Insurance decals are still required to be displayed. The vehicle inspection compliance decal, compulsory insurance decal, and environmental inspection compliance decal—these three decals were all mandatory in the past and had to be affixed to the front windshield. However, with the introduction of new regulations, the environmental inspection compliance decal has been abolished. Now, only the vehicle inspection compliance decal and compulsory insurance decal need to be displayed. The auto insurance decal is one of the key indicators to verify whether a vehicle has compulsory traffic insurance. The insurance decal on a vehicle's windshield serves as proof that the vehicle is covered by compulsory third-party liability insurance. It allows traffic police to clearly determine whether the insurance is valid and up to date.

What are the precautions when picking up a new car?

Precautions when picking up a new car include: 1. Choose a location with good outdoor lighting to inspect the vehicle surface for any damage, dents, color discrepancies, paint chips, or missing body components; 2. Check if the vehicle's production date exceeds 3 months, with the identification plate typically located on the door frame of the front passenger seat; 3. Verify the accuracy of the VIN and ensure the date information on it matches that on the identification plate; 4. Open the trunk to inspect if all accompanying tools, such as the warning triangle, jack, and spare tire, are complete; 5. Open the engine hood to check the cleanliness inside the engine compartment and pay attention to any signs of oil leakage.

What is the correct position to adjust car rearview mirrors?

Correct adjustment positions for car rearview mirrors: 1. For the left mirror, one-quarter of the car body should be visible, with the horizon positioned at the center of the mirror; 2. The right mirror should also show one-quarter of the car body, with the sky occupying one-third and the ground two-thirds of the view; 3. The interior rearview mirror should divide the view equally between sky and ground (half each), providing clear visibility of the rear through the window. Rearview mirrors are crucial safety components of motor vehicles, used for observing rear road conditions during reversing and monitoring the vehicle's surroundings while driving. Currently in China, most automotive rearview mirrors use silver or aluminum for their reflective coating, with some models using chromium.

What to Do When Car Air Conditioning Cooling is Poor?

Solutions for poor car air conditioning cooling: 1. Clean the filter: If the filter is too dirty, it will block the cold air, reducing the cooling effect; 2. Turn on the internal circulation: When the car air conditioning is on, you can turn off the external circulation and only turn on the internal circulation, so the cold air inside the car won't exchange with the hot air outside, naturally improving the cooling effect; 3. Adjust the air direction: Adjust the car air conditioning vents upward, and the wind blowing on your face will feel cooler; 4. Check the car refrigerant: Over time, the refrigerant may deplete. You can go to a repair shop to check if the refrigerant is missing and add it if necessary; 5. Clean the evaporator: Cleaning the evaporator can enhance the cooling effect and improve air conditioning hygiene, ensuring healthier and safer air.
