The function of a car's carbon canister is to absorb the vapor produced by gasoline and maintain the stability of the fuel tank. At normal temperatures, the fuel tank generates vapor, and the fuel evaporation emission system directs this vapor into the combustion process, preventing it from evaporating into the atmosphere. This helps reduce atmospheric pollution and improves fuel efficiency. The material used inside the carbon canister is carbon, due to its strong absorption capacity. The carbon canister is also part of the gasoline evaporation control system, designed to prevent fuel vapor from entering the atmosphere when the car engine is not running. This device not only reduces vehicle exhaust emissions but also lowers fuel consumption. The carbon canister has a certain capacity. When the car starts, the hose on the carbon canister connects to the car's intake system, controlled by the carbon canister solenoid valve on the pipeline, and then transfers the vapor from the carbon canister to the intake system for combustion.
