What is the fuel tank capacity of the Soueast Lingyue V3?

The 2017 Soueast Lingyue V3 has only one model, with a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters. The vehicle adopts front-engine, front-wheel drive. Among vehicles in the same class, the 2020 Baojun 310W has a fuel tank capacity of 40 liters, the 2020 BYD F3 has a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters, and the 2021 Soueast A5 Yiwu also has a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel may exceed the marked capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity marked by the car manufacturer is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safe limit level. There is additional space from the safe limit level to the tank opening, which is designed to allow for fuel expansion when temperatures rise, preventing overflow. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual refueling amount may exceed the marked fuel tank capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, marked with E and F. When the pointer is near E, it indicates low fuel, and when it is close to F, it indicates sufficient fuel.
I drove the Soueast V3 Lingyue for several years, and I remember its fuel tank has a standard capacity of 50 liters. Once when I refueled after the low fuel light came on, the maximum I could fill was about 43 liters, which means there's still a 7-liter reserve at the bottom of the tank. This design is quite reasonable, as it allows you to drive about 100 kilometers in an emergency. For comparison, cars in the same class like the old Jetta have a 55-liter tank, and the Emgrand EC7 has a 50-liter one. Nowadays, most new cars have fuel tanks in the range of 45 to 55 liters. To save fuel, it's better to fill up with just 30-40 liters for daily use, as a lighter tank helps with fuel efficiency.
