What is the fuel tank capacity of the Honda Accord?

The 2022 Honda Accord comes in 5 different models, with fuel tank capacities of 56 liters and 48.5 liters respectively. The vehicle is equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an electronic continuously variable transmission. The drivetrain configuration is front-engine, front-wheel drive. Starting from the 2016 model, the fuel tank capacity of the Honda Accord has been reduced. The 2016 model had capacities of 65 liters and 60 liters, the 2018 model had 56 liters, and the 2021 model had 56 liters and 48.5 liters. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel may exceed the marked capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity specified by the manufacturer is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safe fill level. There is additional space between the safe fill level and the tank opening to allow for fuel expansion when temperatures rise, preventing overflow. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual amount of fuel may exceed the marked capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, owners can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, which is marked with 'E' and 'F'. When the needle is close to 'E', it indicates low fuel, and when it is near 'F', it means the fuel level is sufficient.
