I've been driving a 2019 Forester for two years, and the official data says it has a 60-liter fuel tank. Once on the highway, I specifically tested it: from the fuel light coming on to filling up until the pump automatically stopped, it took about 58 liters, which is quite accurate considering the reserve fuel. With my car's fuel consumption of 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers, I can basically drive about 650 kilometers before the fuel light comes on, which is very reassuring for long-distance trips. A reminder to all Forester owners: don't force more fuel when refueling—stop when the pump automatically stops. The fuel tank design is quite sensitive.
